Welcome to the 7th episode of the Traveling Chevaliers podcast! You can listen to the episode here. In this edition of our show, our friend Amanda Hitterman introduces us to Voyageurs National Park. Amanda relates numerous funny stories about her adventures there, including a frightening one about her encounter with a local bear!
Voyageurs National Park, in International Falls, Minnesota, is a maze of interconnected waterways. It is a haven for fishing, camping and enjoying the great outdoors. Established in 1975, VNP is filled with history. There are signs of Native American life, fur traders and homesteaders, mixed with modern logging, mining and commercial fishing
The book that Craig references during the podcast is The Big Burn, by Timothy Egan. You can find it here.
